Eckankar mural in the park (before)

This is a picture of a mural that was painted in June '06 as part of the Artists of the Wall festival in Loyola park on the lakefront in Rogers Park on the NorthEast side of Chicago. Bill Reinhold and his daughter did the bulk of the work and I put in the text. Unfortunately, I used "permanent" marker which faded in the summer sun and the text virtually disappeared within a few weeks. So this would be the before shot. The Rogers Park Eckankar center sponsored this
project so we made the Eckankar presence as strong as we could. The theme of the festival this year had to do with the shoreline, so we brought that theme into our piece at least a bit.
